Up for auction: An original ex factory Mtech1 BMW E30 Coupé from February 1987 with only 164,529 km on the counter (still occasionally driven in nice weather). The car is parked in a heated garage. The E30 Mtech1 was produced for only a year and a half, there are therefore very few compared to the Mtech2. The special thing about this car is the fact this is the Shadowline version, most other Mtech1 versions were supplied with chrome bumpers, etc. This car has been originally equipped with the very reliable BMW M10 318I block. The mechanics were recently (summer 2019) completely checked and preventative maintenance was carried out worth thousands of euros. Some of the items replaced were: All rubber connections and hoses in the engine compartment. Injectors checked and seal rubbers replaced. Drive shaft rubbers replaced + wheel bearing rubbers replaced. Brake hose replaced. Brake line replaced. Brake fluid replaced. Oil change. Wheel brake cylinders replaced. Handbrake cables replaced. Various bulbs replaced. Sports frame suspension replaced. Battery replaced. The invoices are available for inspection. In short, a real classic which will last for years to come and many more kilometres. Almost no scratches or damage on the paint or rust. The interior is virtually in perfect condition with BMW Recaro sports seats, these don’t have any wear. This car falls within the ultra-low tax bracket for classic cars in the Netherlands. Flaws: There are of course some minor issues as the car is 30 years old. 1. A spot of starting rust on the left rear wheel arch (see photos). 2. Some of the paint is peeling off under the right mirror. 3.
