The third generation Corvette is based on the Mako Shark II concept car. The C3 was introduced in the 1968 model year and production would continue until 1982. The C3 coupe was the first Corvette with removable T-top roof panels. Terms were used which would later return, such as LT-1, ZR-1, and Collector Edition.
The Corvette C3 is becoming increasingly rare and not often seen on the streets. This one starts straight away, it idles nicely at 800 rpm and accelerates with power, it shift smoothly through all gears. The engine and clutch were completely overhauled approx. 2,000 km ago.
It has good paint but you can see some signs of wear and small scratches up close, it will need respraying at some point in the future to finish it off nicely. The interior is still in a very neat (and original) condition and the engine compartment looks very fresh and well-maintained.
