Prehistoric bracelet made of veined marble.
The bracelet is the result of an excellent prehistoric finish and dates back to the Neolithic.
Beautiful work of art from the Neolithic period.
Bracelets like these were mainly worn by the most important members of the tribe.
They were also used as a method of payment, as a trade item.
Condition: Completely perfect, deep old patina as depicted.
Period: Capsian tradition African Neolithic 8,500-2,000 years ago.
Origin: Northwest Africa.
Material: Veined marble
Dimensions: Diameter outer rim 101 mm, diameter inner rim 65-63 mm.
Width: 21 mm
Weight: 201 grams
This is a heavy rare specimen.
Provenance: old Dutch private collection of bracelets.
The seller warrants that he has obtained this lot legally. A certificate shall be provided.
