Classification: Martian meteorite (Shergottite)
NWA 12269 has been classified as Martian shergottite, after all the studies and timely analysis. It shows minimal signs of weathering, so it looks fresh and without much ground metamorphism, which increases its scientific value because of the low level of contamination that it suffered while in contact with other materials of our planet.
Although normally meteorites from Mars have a very small size, the specimen that we offer is a good size specimen of this rare meteorite from our sister planet.
Martian meteorites are the scarcest ones that exist, because of what they represent genuine wonders of the Universe in our hands.
