Korhogo paintings come from northern Côte d'Ivoire and more specifically from the region of Korhogo (Senufo city) as the name suggests. These traditional fabrics showing the most important symbols of the ethnic group are designed like Bogolan (Bògòlanfini) fabrics. They are made of little cotton strips (about ten centimetres wide) sewn together. The ornamental patterns are then painted with natural pigments thanks to little wooden sticks of different sizes.
