Beautiful large specimen of Mesolite. The main sphere is impressive. Also, some might expect the Mesolite is a sphere made of delicate needles, but in this case it is more globular with sharp projections. The contrast between the cream-colour Mesolite and the salmon-colour Stilbite matrix is outstanding, and some small deposits of Mesolite within various crevices of Stilbite create the vision of the ‘Mesolithic Sphere’ that melts. Definitely a catchy piece in excellent condition.
