The last year that the Corvette could get tyres with the broad white faces (wide whitewall tires). Also the last year that one could get the bodywork with contrasting sides. There were only 10,939 pieces produced. The Corvette C1 is less and less often encountered and begins to be a rarity in the streets, especially the sought after triple black design (black varnish, interior and carpet).
