Apal Volkswagen Coupe 1200 from 1962 in original condition.
Very rare and exclusive vehicle, only 150 units were produced between 1962 and 1965. With Volkswagen Beetle 1200 mechanics. Manufactured by the "Application Polyester Armé de Liège", founded by Edmond Pery.
Polyester bodywork. This is the only unit registered in Spain, where it arrived years ago in hands of a German resident in Majorca. The car has Spanish old valid documentation, with registration in Mallorca.
With 1200 cm3 and 34 HP engine from the 50/60’s Volkswagen Beetle. The car is in original condition, with patina. Never restored in depth. It is working.
The car was featured in an article in the Motor classic magazine No. 325 on July-August 2015 (see photos). Very few preserved units.
The car is in Las Rozas, Madrid, Spain.
