Jielde Lamp - MADE IN FRANCE
The Jielde lamp was invented and designed in 1950 by Jean-Louis Domecq.
Made in Lyon, France since its early days, and still made there today.
It fits into any interior, vintage, modern, industrial, or any other...
This beautiful Jielde lamp is one of the very first made in the early 1950s. The riveted nameplate which is green and features the map of France at the top, Jieldé in the centre, the sun at the bottom and a complete circle, is proof of this. You can see it in the pictures.
Very beautiful patina: graphite wax, polished by hand.
I put a lot of care into the refurbishment of this lamp, with its 5 arms of 40 cm each, with attention to detail as well as security.
Following a complete disassembly, the parts were stripped, cleaned, brushed, waxed and polished.
The connector boards and contact rings were cleaned and brushed to ensure the current passes perfectly.
The supply cable is new.
The maximum height fully extended is 230 cm.
The electrics have been completely redone and adhere to current safety standards.
The globe is 16 cm in diameter with high-temperature-resistant paint on the inside.
Very wide base for guaranteed stability.
A very rare lamp, in great condition, the pictures speak for themselves!
Fast and very careful shipping.
