Pierre Giraudon was born in 1923. In the 1940s, he was working as a biologist in Canada.
In 1949, he came to France.
During the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s he produced sculptures, lamps feet and objects in coloured resin with or without inclusions; in addition to his personal creations he worked for César. However Giraudon continued to refuse to be called an artist because he considered himself first and foremost as a biologist. He died in 2012.
