Volkswagen Golf Rallye from 1989 in very good condition both aesthetically and mechanically. Vehicle originally sold in Spain. Very original. The odometer reads 175,235 kilometres, but at 155,000 km the engine was fully repaired (it has only 20,000 km travelled). All spare parts used to repair the engine are completely Volkswagen original (it is possible to provide invoices). No service book available. Last vehicle inspection (Spanish ITV) passed in 2017. Not renewed because car not in use. Extras: Sunroof. Flaws: There is only a chip in the paintwork on the driver’s door handle, and a minor scratch on the front bumper, on the left side (shown in the photos). The Volkswagen Golf II Rallye production began in 1989, predecessor of the R family in Volkswagen, of which only 5,000 units were manufactured by hand in Belgium. The price was then approximately twice the price of the period GTI, and there was a version of the four-cylinder 1.8 litres, 8-valves of the Golf GTI, upgraded up to 160 HP thanks to a G60 compressor, together with Syncro 4WD.
