These striking earrings, made in Italy, presumably during the period of Napoleon III, have slight signs of wear but are in good overall condition. No hallmark. 8 kt yellow gold and 925/°°° silver, touchstone tested. Size: 51 x 16 mm, total weight: 9.55 g. The 32 diamonds are antique cut, from 1.5 mm to 4 mm in diameter, with a estimated total carat weight of 1.35 ct, colour G/L, VVS2/P1. Perfect for day or evening wear: The diamond stud portion can be worn alone (like a modern point of light), or the entire earring can be worn by adding the pendant portion. There's a free-hanging droplet mounted in the centre of the palmette pendant, and its free movement accentuates the movement of the entire earring. The stones have not been tested for possible physical/chemical treatments aimed at enhancing their colour or clarity. They will be sent with a new box. Insured shipment with tracking.
