The stars and planets on a part of the maps consist of coloured tracing paper which lights up colourfully in front of a light source, see photos.

Added: Map ‘Tableau Mobile du Globe’ by the same publisher, though likely from another portfolio. The map consists of two halves of the earth which rotate.
So a total of thirteen maps.
Condition:
The maps have quite some signs of use: yellowing, stains, wear on the edges and corners. Please study the photos for a good impression. They are otherwise complete and fully intact.
The linen of the spine of the accompanying cover is fully torn. See photo.
