Antique silver salt shaker with cut glass inner tray.
Dates from the 3rd quarter of the 19th century.
The round salt shaker frame is equipped with typical decoration for the Biedermeier period.
The barrel is gold-plated on the inside and bottom, the gilding is somewhat jaded.
On the bottom the salt shaker has a label with content 800
The inner tray has a polished exterior with carré sharps..
The dimensions are:
Height, measured incl. inner tray: 4.40 cm.
Diameter silver frame: 5.10 cm.
Total weight is 81.9 g.
The whole is in very nice condition, inner tray has a few minimal almost invisible edge flakes (really minimal)
Exceptionally decorative but it can also be used.
