Pocket Stereoscope - CARL ZEISS Aerotopograph - foldable
This type of pocket stereoscope was produced for the army in WW II. These viewers were used to look at stereo photos, created by reconnaissance aircraft, during the war.
The viewer is assembled by placing the steel arms into the slots. By using different slots, the length of your choice can be set. The viewer can also be used without the slide holder.
The viewer is in excellent condition and comes in the original leather cover.
Very high optical quality!
The viewer is probably from the late 1930s or early 1940s.
