The No. 3 Folding Pocket Kodak Camera was manufactured by the Eastman Kodak Company from 1900 to 1915. This camera model probably has the most versions of all Kodak cameras. The early models A, B & C, produced up to 1904, had the front lens and shutter speeds enclosed and covered in leather, later models had metal stationary or rising front. The No. 3 Folding Pocket Kodak camera models were A, AB, AB-EX, ABX, B, B-2, B-3, B-4, C, C-2, C-3, C-4, C- 5, D, E, E-2, E-3, E-4, F, G and H. Made of aluminium and covered with leather. It could take 12 exposures of 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 inch format on No. 118 film.
Beautiful collector’s item. With original leather case. The text KOILOS is special. Unknown on the internet.
In addition, there is a Berthiot Paris 120 mm lens, which was uncommon for Kodak. The back is also special: a provision for sheet film. The 118 roll could also be used.
The shutter works. As with all vintage items, this one has been used, which may result in signs of use and wear and tear. Please take a careful look at the pictures before you put in a bid, if condition and functionality are of great importance to you.
