With original Sheaffer chromed Touchdown filling system (Sheaffer exclusive). White dot on clip top. Marked engraved "SHEAFFER" on barrel lip and nib face (see detailed pictures). CONDITION: Mint cosmetically - very gently used, seems almost as new, very polished and shiny overall with no visible signs of use and no flaws - see pictures. No scratches or other marks. No nicks, no dents. No cracks, scuffs or deformations. No oxidations. No repairs. Clip perfectly adjusted and aligned. Absolutely no wear or brassing to the gold platings. The nib is as new, perfect aligned and with complete iridium, writing perfectly and smoothly. No scratches or marks, no bends or repairs. Polished and shiny. Fiiling system complete and working very smoothly, but probably not filling up 100%. When acting the piston, vacuum is felt and heard and the pen fills up with some amount of ink, sufficient to write. However there are certain positions (angles) of the piston that are not so air tight. No leaks or blots. Very crisp engravings. No personal engravings. Perfectly clean overall.
