Merli Bruno, Capodimonte - delicate sculpture of a mother and child
A beautiful Italian sculpture, designed by Bruno Merli. It depicts a mother, sitting next to the crib with the baby in her arms. The sculpture is very expressive, the face of the mother and the face of the baby, very endearing. Many rich and fine details.
The sculpture has very soft colours, cream and pink, with a nice shine. The base is decorated with some small flowers and curls.
Signed on the back with B. Merli and the Capodimonte mark on the side.
The sculpture is mounted on a brown oval wooden pedestal. (darker spot at the front of the wooden pedestal - see the photo)
In a good condition.
