DETAILS - 103 G.004 engine type - Previous owners: 4 DESCRIPTION Manufactured from 1959 to 1963, the Fiat 1200 Cabriolet gained a huge commercial success both in Italy and the USA, thanks to its nice body line designed and manufactured by Pininfarina and its reliable mechanics. However, although the undoubted qualities of this wonderful car, its quotations haven’t increased yet as its rivals of the time, such as the Alfa Romeo Giulietta. This inevitably leads to consider the Fiat 1200 Cabriolet a likely revaluation model over time. The model offered here is characterised by its originality, which is a result of a careful and detail-oriented restoration: the body was brought back to bare iron and repainted in the beautiful original red colour; the bottom was replaced as well as the capote and the internal carpet (front and rear seats are original from the very first equipment!); all details were newly chromed; engine and mechanics were overhauled. The car is solid and surprisingly easy to use. The set-up is enriched by the Nardi steering wheel, the Autovox radio (option of the time) and the black vintage number plates from Viterbo. Notes: The seats are original... and beautiful: they do not show signs of wear, tears or unsewn spots. However, the padding is uneven in some spots. You can view the car at our showroom in Magione.
